Who We Are
CJ Aquatic Restoration LLC began as the brainchild of Ricky Campbell and Hal Jones during their tenure with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Campbell and Jones were the founding members and leaders of an in-house aquatic habitat restoration team who was directly responsible for over 30 successful dam removals. Their leadership also saw countless culvert replacements and stream restoration successes. CJ Aquatic Restoration LLC is committed to providing safe and effective conservation solutions that promote public access, public safety, and untamed rivers for flora and fauna across the nation.
Our Team
Our team is comprised of professional heavy equipment operators with stellar track records formerly employed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Our personnel have over 100 combined years of operator experience in varying environments and situations. We strive for the safe delivery of effective conservation solutions. Our operators have experience in varying conditions from raging rivers to the most gentle streams. All four operators have extensive experience in aquatic resource conservation; ranging from dam removals to aquatic habitat restoration.
SERVICES
Dam Removal
With over fifty years of combined consultation and delivery efforts, our team is well equipped and experienced in removing natural or man-made fish passage barriers. The team has successfully completed projects on both large river systems and small creeks.
Stream and Riverbank Restoration
Alongside our dam removal service, we also specialize in streambank restoration and streambed stabilization. Our team has provided extensive consultation and conservation delivery efforts to apply remedial actions to adversely impacted aquatic ecosystems.
Failed Culvert Replacement
To support fish passage and public safety, our team can replace failing culverts with structures that are beneficial for both the public and the environment. This includes bottomless culvert installation.
